New Display Offered at Woodland Park Library

The Ute Pass Historical Society & Pikes Peak Museum has a new

display on the second floor of the library. It explores the history

of local summer camps, complete with photos. Check it out during

library hours.

We are currently gathering information for a future exhibit about Camp

Wanaka, a former girl’s camp that operated from 1945 to 1972 in Woodland Park. We welcome any stories, photographs or memories that anyone would like to share.

After the library, visit the UPHS Gift Shop, 231 E. Henrietta

Avenue. We have a great selection of historical books, Indian art,

pottery, and much more! Gift Shop hours are 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

on Wednesday, and 11:00 am to 3:00 pm Thursday through Saturday.

Follow us on Facebook for updates of upcoming activities.
