Pikes Peak Museum

The Pikes Peak Museum, operated by the Ute Pass Historical Society, is a collection of historic buildings and displays located throughout the area.  Each site has a theme and exhibits.  Many of our offerings are located in Ute Pass History Park, found within the 200 E. Midland Avenue block in Woodland Park, Colorado.  The balance of UPHS exhibits are at selected sites in the Ute Pass and within the Pikes Peak Region of Colorado.  We encourage local institutions and business entities to partner with UPHS for historic preservation and the educational opportunities which remote displays provide to our community, residents and visitors alike.

Take a walk back in time, and experience the UPHS exhibits displayed in three historical buildings at Ute Pass History Park.  The Immer Cabin was recently restored, and includes displays of the Ute Pass communities' schools, churches, hotels and dude ranches.  The Brockhurst Cabin, which hosted the original UPHS museum during the 1970's in Green Mountain Falls, depicts the lifestyle of early pioneers in a one-room log cabin home.  The Carroll Den houses a growing exhibit of Colorado Midland Railroad artifacts.  See our NEWS & EVENTS webpage or contact us for tour information: We look forward to scheduling a Docent-led tour for your family or group.
